Operation Christmas Child
Every year we collect boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The children present the shoe boxes as a "special offering" during our Sunday Worship Service.
Fulfilling a Need
A group of Mission Team volunteers recently installed this wheelchair ramp for a local resident who was badly injured in a car crash.
Roofing Project in the Community
Two groups of volunteers worked diligently over
the course of two days to repair and re-shingle
a roof for a member of our community.
Thanksgiving Boxes
Churches from around the community gathered over 200 of a particular item for Thanksgiving Boxes. These boxes were given to low-income families. Each box contained items such as a canned ham, green beans, cake mix, rolls, and sweet potatoes.
At East Sylva Baptist Church,we collected sweet potatoes.
Fellowship Suppers
We LOVE our volunteers who prepare delicious, homemade meals for us on Wednesday evenings!
